Philip began his career in 1973 at the Insurance Agency Department of the Heng Seng Bank Ltd. He joined Pan-In Insurance Co Ltd in 1979.

Resigning from the post, Philip established the Technical Insurance Consultant Ltd in 1983.

He is currently responsible for APEX's overall administrative and servicing function. An active and keen marketer, Philip spends a fair share of his time generating direct business for the group of companies. Philip was an Elected Member of the Eastern District Council.
